A Fairy Tale Evening

A BYU dance group came to Washington state to perform, and their last stop was in Yakima before heading back to Provo.  One of the ladies in our ward was in the BYU theater/dancing troupe back in the day, and was instrumental in having them come perform in our state.  We lucked out, receiving some tickets for free, and had a lovely evening.  The dancers performed selections from different fairy tale ballets, like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, and others.

 At intermission, kids were invited up to the stage to dance with the ballet dancers.  There were some little boys up there as well as a couple hundred little girls.  Annie and Maddie are on the right side, mixed in there somewhere.

Annie wasn't feeling great, complaining that her stomach didn't feel good (she hadn't eaten dinner), and Ryan ended up sitting in the foyer with her for the last 15 minutes.  But we got through the evening with no barfing, so I am thankful.  The stomach flu came later.
