Spring Break

We had a busy spring break.

We had a landscape project.  The landscape fabric put down by the previous owners was ripped up (I think maybe some plants left with them?), visible, and the weeds were popping up.  So Ryan and I scraped all the bark up, weeded, leveled, planted a burning bush from a near-by nursery, put it new landscape fabric, and put down all new bark.
The before-ish picture.  I forgot to take a picture of what it looked like when we started.  But you can see the new landscape fabric.
I like how it turned out.

Annie drew a spider with lots of legs with chalk.
We had the missionaries over for dinner one night.  We ate some butchered roosters, and the missionaries wanted to see how butchering was done.  So, white shirts, ties and all, Ryan taught them after dessert.
 Meet Elders Hays and Free.
We had a day to clean the kids' bedrooms- a good and proper clean.  Like the kind where the closets are opened and dug out.

Once we had a big basket full of dirty laundry, Ryan thought it would be a good idea to send it down the stairs by itself.
 Such a good idea.....

We had cousins spend much of the week with us.  They fed the neighbor's goats.
It was nice of the kids to pull weeds too. :)

 Grandma came too, Tuesday evening.
The kids thought it would be fun to practice for Aunt Brynne's upcoming wedding.

Kim and I took some videos of the kids.  Listening to them narrating, and telling each other what they needed to do and how to dress, was hysterical.
