This is the twins first contribution to my continuing collection of wall art. Luckily, it was only pencil and I convinced Elizabeth to clean it for me. The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser might just be the best cleaning product out there. If for some reason, there is a parent out there who doesn't own one, you should definitely give it a try. It has taken off Sharpie from a computer keyboard before. (Only if you catch it right away, but still-- very amazing.)
I honestly don't know if it's the fact they are twins, they are larger in stature than the previous two, or they have such great role models, but Annie and Maddie hold the record for youngest members to pull a pencil off the table and scribble on the wall. Seems like Emma was older when she made beautiful wall decorations for the first time. Maybe it's because I had so few distractions then, and could watch her more?

I love those sponges. I have taken Sharpie off our brand new house window molding...I caught it within 10-15 minutes (I think). Anyway, using the magic sponge lightened/stripped the finish of the wood, but I knew it would going in so I was pretty careful and only did little motions and it all came off. So happy! I'm not as concerned with a little duller finish as I am with big sharpie scribble.
I've also used it in combination with Aqua Net to remove graffiti off of my mailbox a couple years ago.

I have stripped the paint off my bedroom wall, using the eraser trying to remove mascara I didn't get to right away. The folks who sold us the house used cheap paint, but as we've repainted the walls using better quality stuff and we've had better luck not removing paint when cleaning up. All the knowledge you amass as a parent!
Own ONE???? I own BOXES and I will say that the wal-mart off brand works exactly the same and is cheaper!
Nichole loves them and got me hooked on them--
The Magic Eraser is the most glorious invention EVER. I have no idea how or why it works...it truly is magical.
Your blog is so fun to read! Yes, I love the Mr. Clean eraser too.... can't even tell you how many times I've used it with four little artists in the family.
