Style

These girls crack me up.  They have their own definite sense of style and certain clothes that they mostly keep for themselves.  See that black and white striped skirt that Maddie is wearing?  Well, we have two and Maddie alternates them so she can wear that skirt 3-4 times a week right now.  For a little while Annie and Maddie were both wanting to wear that skirt which once belonged to Elizabeth.  When I was shopping at Target for their birthday I happened to see that they were making the same one we had already, so I grabbed another so Annie and Maddie could each have one.  That hasn't worked out so well because Maddie is wearing them both.  But it works out because we have two pairs of the jeggings that Annie loves to wear, and one had been intended for Maddie.

When you look amazing, you just know it.  Annie put this amazing outfit together herself.

Wacky Wednesday

Today's dress up day was Wacky Wednesday, at both Elizabeth and the twins' schools.  I think my kids nailed it.

Purplicious

Maddie likes purple.  She likes it best when she can wear purple from head to toe.

Sparkly Boots

Annie and Maddie got some new boots from Old Navy.  They love them so much, the boots went with us to church today.  Our outfits were so amazing, I had to take a picture.  Annie and Maddie are also wearing shirts they got from mom and dad on their birthday.

Someone thought with the weather cooling down, it must be Christmas time already:

 I mostly just snapped this picture to show Maddie wearing one of her many all purple outfits.  She will be very thorough in her purple outfits, even putting on purple underwear.

What She Wore Wednesday

Emma helped Annie come up with her costume.  I think it was a Snow White dress, with a black skirt over the dress, and then her special "Corner Blankie" (that's the name of the twins' matching blankets that they love) wrapped around and through, like a cape.

Wacky Wednesday at Drama Camp

When I plugged in my camera to get pictures onto the computer, these photos uploaded.  Somehow I missed this fashion show, and I have no idea who took the pictures.  (Well, that's not entirely true.  I'm guessing it was Emma...)

Our Get Along T-Shirt

Monday night I got tired of the fighting.  Enough is enough.

Learn to get along, or else:

We told Emma and Elizabeth that they needed to have 30 fighting-free minutes in a row to get out of the t-shirt.  It took them somewhere around 90 minutes before they were free of each other.  We even made them help clean up the family room and eat dinner wearing Ryan's t-shirt.

Once they were able to be done with their "consequence," they gave each other a wide berth for a while.  I didn't mind.  That was more time with no fighting, which was pure bliss to me.

What I Wore Wednesday

While we were in the process of moving, I had to admire my utterly stylish outfit.

Gray shoes and dark brown shorts.  I was totally stylin'.

WSWW- The Thursday Edition

Emma and Elizabeth are attending a local Drama Camp, put on by the high school drama club.  Each day they've had a different dress-up theme.  Today's was "Crazy Wacky" day.

"Crazy" wasn't enough, so it's crazy wacky.

As for their outfits- Emma is wearing black suede boots, camo shorts, a rainbow butterfly shirt (worn inside out), a blue plaid shirt over and a swim skirt on her head.  Elizabeth is wearing black Hello Kitty boots (worn on the wrong feet), mismatched socks (the striped one belongs to her mother), red shorts, Fancy Nancy tutu, green and white striped t-shirt (worn inside out), and a really old tie of her dad's.  They looked awesome.

Yep, I left the house with Annie looking like that.  We turned heads.  I'm not really sure where Annie found the Christmas ribbon, but it makes a flamboyant headband.

Disclaimer:  I just want to mention that I do dress my children.  Seriously.  Unfortunately the pants never make it past the first trip to the bathroom.

I like mocking people who just know they are cute and stylish enough to show off to the blogging world.  They can't beat my kids though.

Annie and Maddie are rocking their "Grandpa Camp" shirts.  Annie kidnapped a pair of my heels (Target), and Maddie made off with my boots (ebay) and a pair of nylons.

Do you ever see those features on some blogs called, "What I Wore Wednesday"?  Well, I was thinking about doing something similar to that, only about my kids and their amazing fashion sense.

So, without further ado- Elizabeth's first contribution.

Brown knit pants (Walmart), my Halloween socks (a gift from my mother-in-law a couple years ago) and gray velro shoes (Payless).  Awesome, right?
