Final Step to Adulthood

We've arrived, I think. Ryan and I were talking the other day about being grow-ups. Got the college education (some for me, a degree for Ryan), got a "real" job (Ryan again), have kids, bought a house and now the minivan. We can't think of any more steps on the road to adulthood. We may be wrong. Those with a little more experience than ourselves are probably chuckling to themselves, thinking, "Just wait until...." So, this is it. Our 2006 Kia Sedona. I think we did a better job buying this time, and the experience was more enjoyable. If sitting in a small space with your children for 4 hours could be considered enjoyable...
I think my wiring gets mixed up when I'm pregnant. I felt like we were getting rid of a beloved pet, using our Hyundai as a trade-in. The girls were feeling the same way. Emma especially was very disturbed that we were leaving our car and it wasn't ours anymore. But we are very happy with the minivan and it will probably be ours until it dies.

Congrats! We are talking about going this route as well! The gas prices are so high that driving the Suburban is painful! Now I'm curious about all the detail of your choice... I'll send you an email.

Ryan said today it was the (and I quote), "Final Nail In The Coffin" buying a minivan. Gotta love him!

OHHHH- you will LOVE having a minivan!!!! My mom still drives a mini-van, even though she is an empty nester. I am so happy for you- congratulations! I knew you were going to have to take the plunge sometime before the twins are born . . .
