Champion

Emma brought home a medal on Friday.  Her school has an Accelerated Reader program and Emma got over 2000 points.  This was more than any other 3rd or 4th grader at her school.  Kids get points for reading by taking a short test about the book.  The sad/funny/interesting part of the story is- she read more books than she took tests on.
Great job, Emma!  We are so proud of you!

Woo hoo for Emma! Good job kiddo! Danae, i just caught up on your blog and I have to tell you again how much fun it is to read! And to know that life is just as crazy in some other home in the country! Good luck with getting that be-lated Mother's Day nap on Fathers Day. :)

Thank you! I'm always glad to know my house isn't the only crazy one. :)

That is so awesome. I can't help but think that if we lived in the same town that Spencer and Emma would be the best of friends.....or bitter competitive rivals.

I think Emma could use some good competition. I think she finds it pretty easy to stay ahead.
