Monterey Bay Aquarium

This morning found us at a cowboy restaurant for breakfast with Ryan's cousin Matthew and his family.  Once thoroughly stuffed on eggs, pancakes, and bacon, Matthew had to go back to work.  We had tickets for the Aquarium in Monterey and offered to let Jenny, Teagan, and Maeve join us.

It was a busy day at the Aquarium, with several kids groups making their way through.  But we found if we lingered in one exhibit and waited for the groups to pass through, it was a lot easier to see.
 Hangin' with the jellies.

We spent quite a bit of our visit in the touching exhibits.

Our families produce a lot of girls....

We didn't make it all the way through the aquarium, but we kind of ran out of steam.  It was well past lunch time, so we walked down to a grocery store to supplement out peanut butter sandwich lunch.  We walked back to our parking garage and had a picnic lunch there.
After our lunch, we said goodbye to Jenny and her girls.  We took the girls through one or two shops so they could spend their souvenir money, and then headed back.  We had packing to do for our drive home tomorrow.
