Certain plants in our garden are ready to be picked, like the onions.  Seriously, Ryan planted so many onions.  I get overwhelmed every time I go out there, and they aren't the kind that will store forever. 

 So tonight we decided to give onion rings a try.  Here's Elizabeth with two of our Walla Walla sweets.
 We ended up only using one of the onions.  It made a big batch, and we made ourselves thoroughly ill on deep fried onion rings.
